Featured in the Good Pub Guide 2007

This attractive pub is all very roomy and relaxed. Several areas link openly together so you feel part of what’s going on, yet each has its own distinct individual feel. There are well spaced seats and tables on the bare boards or ochre tiles, and furnishings are mainly in pale fabrics or soft suede, running from comfortable bar seats through tub chairs to deep sofas, with just a few prints on walls painted mainly in gentle seaside pastels. In one corner a case of art books and the like helps to set the tone. The no smoking conservatory has unusual patterned tablecloths and grey Lloyd Loom wicker seating. read more

Recently reopened with most charming new owner, Douglas Green...a former London restaurateur. Fab menus and people. We had an unforgettable Christmas Dinner.

All I can say is GO TO THE LITTLE ANGEL PUB, they have done an awesome job on it, it's completely different & I'd highly recommend it in every way - about time we had a pub like this!

On popping into this spacious pub to watch the rugby we couldn't believe how relaxed and cosy the landlord and staff made us feel. Great pub snacks and comfy sofas made for a longer 'pit-stop' than anticipated. The Henley locals should feel lucky to have such a place on hand - shame there isn't more of this type of pub about!

Love the place, it's a great local, you feel like it's your pub! The clientele is mixed but classy and the staff are pretty good. I drink there with friends mostly but it's also a definite destination for good food, they get so busy. Here's one to note, if you want good food, fast and efficient service over a working lunch, go there...

First class in every way. Great atmosphere lovely conservatory, sensuous lighting.
