Henley Royal Regatta 2012 – Wednesday 27th June to Sunday 1st July
The Henley Royal Regatta is as famous as Henley itself. A week of rowing, thrills, rain, shine & generally lashings of the good stuff they call fun is to be had. During this week of jollity, The Little Angel becomes a Village in it’s own right. No more is the car park for 40 cars, no, instead there are comfy tables, chairs and umbrellas, a raging BBQ all afternoon and evening, dance your socks off live music and simply bags of room to meet your friends, sit, eat, chat, laugh and drink Pimms, Champagne, Beer or whatever else takes your fancy from our fully equipped outside bars.
Inside the pub is an altogether more classy affair. Bookings for individuals or groups with a mouth wateringly delicious buffet, comfy surroundings and cool music.
It’s simply great pre race, during race, after race and we party well into the evening. Meeting point we are and there’s no sinking into the grass with us!
To make it even easier, the Regatta car park, that spends most of its year being a divine cricket ground, is a small picket fence gate away from the bar!!
The Henley Festival of Music & Arts 2012
Wednesday 4th July to Sunday 8th July Riverfront, Henley
On Thames We are but a stones throw away from this famous annual setting and during the week of the festival we generally have a full playing card of delicious menus, live music and cater for tailored parties of Festival goers for up to 80 people.
An annual event that draws the crowds both nationally and internationally. This is a classy affair by the river during the day for the Arts, Music & much more. By night, the riverfront is transformed into a glittering feast for the eyes and culminates in an awe inspiring evening of music on the huge floating stage. Not to be missed.
